It’s tempting. With 40s going for roughly two dollars it isn’t too hard to keep your party hydrated on a budget… and it’s not uncommon either. I am sad that this is the status quo. That being said, there is a time and place. I, like many of you, enjoy the spontaneity of a late night beer run. Unfortunately, with Four Lokos now outlawed the super-beer is rapidly loosing it’s appeal to me. Further more, It’s not hard to elevate your social happenings with a little flair and on budget. A few months ago I was at a gathering, available that evening were Cranberry wu wu(s). I know, the name leaves much to be desired, but the simple fact is that the wu wu(s) are easy to make, ingredients are affordable and they’re delicious. Just $20 can produce three liters of delectable jus de crunk (crunk juice.)

So here’s how it works.

1/4 vodka (the cheap stuff works fine)
1/4 peach schnapps
1/2 cranberry juice

Served best with a few slices of citrus and it’s that simple. Serve it up in a nice punch bowl, and worry less about you’re sloppy friend breaking anything.

Utopia Park, A Myspace Treasure!

An unexpected Myspace gem was the discovery of Utopia Park, an Iowa band a truly something special. I am especially partial to “New Strings” and a drop that (to me) offers something almost cosmic.

The café culture is rich and the people are kind. Western amenities are never very far either. For 24/7 Wi-Fi access, toilet paper and a Pizza Hut the Rabat train station is the place to be.
